Undocumented and DACAmented Students: Creating Connections to Support Success

Undocumented students feel more vulnerable than ever in America and on college campuses today. Given their many concerns that include financial stability, the battle for citizenship and deportation, discrimination, and finding community, educators need to connect with this population to support their success. The presenters will draw from research and professional experiences to discuss this population, their concerns, and will explore methods of engagement to create connections focused on mentorship, resiliency, and grit.
