Returning to the Foundations: Integrating Peer Mentorship into Social Greek Lettered Organizations
Is there a place for the fraternal movement on the modern U.S. college campus? Lost over the generations is the basic understanding that these organizations were founded to advance mentorship. The ability of mentorship to positively influence academic and leadership development performance indicators is well established. In this discussion-based, and highly interactive session, participants will wrestle with the question of evolution, revolution, or dissolution; is there an opportunity to return to the founding concept of mentorship to breathe new life into the fraternal movement?
