Programs with a Purpose: Building Effective Experiential Learning Opportunities
Experiential learning opportunities have a range of potential benefits for students, but how can we maximize this potential? Certain key elements and considerations should be incorporated into all experiential learning programs regardless of type. The presenters will give recommendations regarding program design, as supported by experiential learning theory, in order to enhance the student experience. We will explore the challenges associated with designing experiential programs, as well as practical ideas and applications essential to maximizing program effectiveness.
