Exploring our Relationship with Stuff and our Global Footprint
This presentation will help participants explore how much stuff each of us wants and needs and how stuff affects our lives. The personal meaning of stuff, why we collect stuff, and why we keep stuff will be explored through personal exploration and discussion. Stuff as an environmental and social justice issue will be explored. Leading by example is a good student affairs practice, for example appropriately managing our stuff. Examples from the literature, the presenter's, and participants' lives will be used to clarify the stuff choices we all make.
